AIS - Summer School

  We had a lot of fun this week in Summer School! Thanks for joining us!   This week was Game World. We did activities related to fun and games. Here we are playing a math game to practice our skills.    We played cool games in the gym too. Check this one out. We used our teamwork!     We made cool masks. Robots, princesses, pirates and Cleopatra.  We had epic water fights in the park!     We kept our distance during the day and we had safe meals in the classroom.   Thanks for coming and have a great summer!   

Hello Parents,  Welcome to an invigorating and fun week of summer school.Our theme for this week was Art and Science. Our week was filled with a wide range of learning experiences for all students. Students started the week by looking at the  different parts of plants and their functions. They then cut out the different parts of a flower and put them on a sheet to make the full plant. Students worked in pairs to  make a life-sized body map to learn about human anatomy. They learned about the anatomy and the five basic senses.                       Students  investigated  the world of animals by reading various picture books. They explored four facets of animals, such as basic facts, animal babies, interaction with others, and habitats. They worked together to research an animal of their choice then presented the information to their peers. They also made various animal masks to enhance the presentations....

Hello Parents of Kindergarten Summer School students! I hope that you are staying as cool as possible during these hot days. We had a blast during our first week of summer school. We made a collaborative bee drawing and everyone in class colored at least one page so it was a large art piece we all worked on together! We also made Pancakes on Friday!  We used different toppings to make different animal faces or shapes from nature! Everyone had a great time learning to cook! We also spent some time working with play dough and showed each other the amazing things we could build and create! We spend time in the library picking out books for our classroom. We really enjoyed reading to each other and showing the different books we liked to read. Lunch time was always ...
