For our cooking class this week, we made chocolate pudding in a ziploc bag and ate it out of the bag like astronauts. The boys and girls measured and mixed their own ingredients. The children's art activities focused on making various space themed art as well as a classroom size space station which the students designed themselves. We also made paper mache planets but they exploded! We also used paint splatters to make stars and drew our own constellations! In art class students created masks, costumes and a boat for the performance. We all had a good time as we learned about the hero Momotaro and his good deeds.      In math we used information about superheroes to practice converting units of measurement and practicing some arithmetic. Students converted from standard to the metric system and learned the difference in weight between a metric tonne and a standard ton.      For our langua
